A Broad View of Salvation

The sanctuary shows how God deals with sin.
Sin cannot be ignored. Its wages are death (Romans 6:23).
The soul who sin shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4, 20)
The law cannot be changed to make sinners not guilty.
I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. For assuredly I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. (Psalms 89:34,Matthew 5:18)
3        Sin’s wages must be paid, either by the sinner in receiving eternal death or by Christ on the cross.

Let's follow a sin as it is confessed, and then processed through the sanctuary.

The earthly sanctuary was to be a miniature model, or copy and shadow, of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. God said, "According to all that I show you, that is the pattern of the tabernacle and the in pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it." (Hebrew 8:5, Exodus 25:9)
Sanctuary is the Sinner’s Journey Back to God. Let’s begin our true journey to God. The sanctuary consisted of three principal areas: the courtyard, the holy place, and the most holy place. The plan of salvation is the theme of the entire Bible.

The world corresponded to the Courtyard where justification transpired. And Jerusalem corresponded to the Altar, where Jesus our substitute Passover lamb has sacrificed. (Matthew 28:28, John 1:29, 1Peter 2:24) By believing we accept Jesus’ payment and from here our journey begins.
Our next stoppage is the The laver
And the Baptism corresponds to Laver where we die, bury and made alive with Christ. Paul wrote, ‘Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in newness of life. Even when we were dead in trespasses and sins, He made us alive together with Christ. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. (Roman 6:3-4, Ephesians 2:1, 5, 1Corrinthians 5:17)
The justification work has finished here. Now we crossed the courtyard and reached the second principal area that called The Holy Place.

The Church corresponds to The Holy place that is the God’s living temple. Paul wrote, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1Corrinthians 3:16) When we enter the Holy Place, we should have experience with three things. The showbread, The Seven branches Lamp Stand and The Altar of Incense.

1.     The Words of God correspond to the showbread. It is written, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:1,14) Yes He is Jesus. He said, “I am the bread of life.” (John 6:35) And He added, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life: and these are they which testify of Me. (John 5:39) Again He said, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) Yes friends, just as without food we will become weaker and weaker and finally die, same way without the word of God we cannot grow and maintain our eternal life.

2.   The Seven Churches correspond to The Seven branches Lamp Stand that carry the ministry of Jesus and reflects the character of Jesus among the world. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. (John 8:12) Then He says to us, “You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14,16)
3.      Prayer of the believers corresponds to The Altar of Incense that performed by a Mediator. And who is our Mediator? It is written, “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. (1Timuthy 2:5)

4.    Jesus said, “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do that the Father may glorified in the Son. (John 14: 13, also see: Revelation 8:3-4, John 14:12-14, 1John 2:1)
Dear friends, the third and final principal area is The Holy City New Jerusalem that corresponds to the Most Holy Place. The dwelling place of God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ. This is the place about which John wrote. "After these things I looked and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened and the ark of His Covenant was seen in the temple. (Revelation 11:19 and 15:5) This is the same place, where Jesus has promised to take us. He said, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many MANSIONS; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. (John 14:1-3) This is the same place about which Paul wrote, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."(1Corinthians 2:9) God said, "But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a CITY for them." (Hebrew 11:16)
Consider the constructions of the miniature model of the Most Holy Place. The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and twenty cubits high. Its length, breadth, and height are equal making it a perfect cube. (1King 6:20) Now consider the constructions of the Holy City New Jerusalem. The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. (Around 2400km) Its length, breadth, and height are equal.(Revelation 21:16)

Let’s closer look the city through the eyes of Disciple John: “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Revelation 21:2) She had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.(Revelation 21:12)
The construction of its wall was of jasper. And the city was pure gold, like clear glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. (Revelation 21:18-21)

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:1-2)

Dear friend, this is the place where we have to go but not everyone able to go. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My father in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
