To Appointment for God’s Work
God says, "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, you will surely die, and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin: but you will have saved yourself. (Ezekiel 3:17-19)
Again when a righteous man turn from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself. (Ezekiel 3: 20-21)

God’s Instructions for Pastors and Leaders
Therefore:- Watch your life and doctrine closely. Preserve in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1 Timothy 4:16)
For the lips of a priest to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction—because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 2:7). Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as a overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be: not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being example to the flock. (1 Peter 5:2-3)
It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth; he will put him in charge of all his possessions. (Matthew 24:46-47)
Therefore, keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God which he bought with his own blood. (Acts 20:28) And when the chief shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. (1 Peter 5:4)
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.( Daniel 12:3)
Words of God for Unfaithful Pastors and Leaders
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge. I also reject you as my priests: because you have ignored the law of your God. I also will ignore your children. (Hosea 4:6)
You have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble: you have violated the covenant. So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law. Says the Lord Almighty. (Mal 2:8-9)
You promise them freedom, while yourselves are slaves of depravity—for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. (2 Peter 2:19)
Priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things: they do not distinguish between the holy and the common: they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean: and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. (Ezekiel 22:26)
Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, and you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives. (Ezekiel 13:22)
Woe to you expert in law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered; you have hindered those who were entering.” (Luke 11:52)
Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the Lord. Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done. Declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 23:1-2)
Weep and wail, you shepherds; roll in the dust, you leaders of flock. For your time to be slaughtered has come; you will fall and be shattered like fine pottery. The shepherds will have nowhere to flee, the leaders of the flock no place to escape. (Jeremiah 25:34-35)
